A Skoda Rapid Today Will Get You A Fabia For Free
Do not blink, you read that correctly. If you buy a Skoda Rapid compact sedan you can walk, I mean, drive away with a Fabia hatchback without paying a dime. Sounds too good to be true? Read on.
This one of a kind offer does not come from Skoda itself, but from a dealer in Gujarat called Torque Auto. For obvious reasons this announcement has caught the attention of everyone, not just in Gujarat, but across the country. However, when the guys from Team-BHP contacted Torque Auto over the phone to know more about this offer the dealership insisted they visit them in person.
Upon further prodding the catch in the offer was revealed. Torque Auto will give away a Fabia on purchase of a Rapid, but only after 5 years. The Fabia given would be a base variant and the engine would be same as the Rapid you would purchase. That is, if the Rapid bought is a diesel, then the Fabia will also be a diesel one and the same goes for the petrol engine. Additionally, all the extra costs such as insurance and all kind of taxes on the Fabia will have to be managed by the buyer.
Skoda dealerships in India are currently offering a discount of INR 1 lakh, but availing the free Fabia offer will automatically terminate the 1 lakh discount. Also, if customers prefer money over a free Fabia in 2018 then Torque Auto will give them INR 3.5 lakhs.
The top variant of 2012 Skoda Rapid compact sedan sells in India for about INR 9.7 lakhs, while the Fabia hatchnack top variant sells for nearly INR 8 lakhs.
