Bugatti Veyron 400th Unit Sold; Just 50 More Remaining
One of the greatest cars in automotive history is nearing its end. Production of Bugatti Veyron, the monster of a supercar, which was conceived in 2005, will come to an end in the near future as production inches towards its stipulated production limit.
Bugatti recently sold the 400th Veyron, a Grand Sport Vitesse. To be specific, the last of the three"Jean-Pierre Wimille" model, which is a part of the Bugatti Legends series. The ultra exclusive Grand Sport Vitesse roadster was bought by an unnamed buyer from the middle east.

Production of Bugatti Veyron is limited to 450 units, which means only 50 more are remain before we say goodbye to one the greatest cars to be ever built.

There are four distinct variants of the Bugatti Veyron - the 1001 PS, Veyron 16.4 from 2005; the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, the roadster version of the original Veyron, from 2008.

The fastest production car, the 1200 PS, Veyron Super Sport from 2010 and lastly, the fastest open top production car, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, from 2012.

Production of coupe versions of the Veyron was limited to 300 units and all have since been sold. Meanwhile, 150 of the roadsters are to be built and 100 of these are already on the road.

Bugatti Veyron is considered a technical marvel. A 8.0 liter, W16 engined sports car that's retained the fastest production car crown till date. The car was developed and built because team who built it and VW, which funded it, wanted to show the world something like this could become a reality. The car is so special that Bugatti loses money with each Veyron it builds.
