BMW Tops Forbes Most Powerful Brand List
BMW is the most powerful automotive brand in the world, says Forbes, the leading U.S business magazine. The Forbes top 100 list includes companies from every segment and BMW comes in at number 9 overall.
The Munich, Germany based automaker in its 97 year history has grown into a automotive giant, with several reputed brands under its wing, including Rolls Royce and Mini. Part of the German ‘Big Three', BMW has traditionally competed with Mercedes-Benz and Audi. This rivalry is seen even in India, where BMW, till recently held the top position in the luxury car market.
