Watch A Banks Power 2000 HP Pikes Peak Truck Drift
Pikes Peak Hill Climb attracts all sorts of oddball vehicles, some powered by massive engine and others by powerful electric drives. While most are nimble and small (except for the gigantic rear spoilers), there are also massive trucks attempting the hill climb as. And you would be surprised to learn they can do so faster than your average road going car.
One such truck that will head to Pikes Peak this Sunday will be this diesel monstrosity, named Banks Super-Turbo Freightliner. Banks Power, the firm behind this super truck specialises in diesel engine tuning. For their Pikes Peak entry truck the engine has specially tuned to generate a massive 2000 HP. And what's more inspite of its massive size it can easily pull off a drift, as demonstrated in the video below.

Banks Super-Turbo Freightliner's diesel engine generates 2 tons of HP aided by aturbocharger and a supercharger.

Here is the massive set of rear spoilers that we spoke of earlier. And don't miss that sports car like roof mounted air intake.

We figure environmentalists won't be particularly pleased with theFreightliner. You'll know what we mean after watching the video in the following slide.
