Audi TTS Competition Limited Edition Celebrates Half A Million TT

Audi has sold half a million TT models, a landmark it is celebrating with the TTS Competition limited edition model.

Production of the Audi TTS Competition will be limited to just 500 units worldwide. We are not sure if any will reach Indian shores.

Audi TTS Competition limited edition will be available in both coupe and roadster versions, depending on order received for the body type.

What makes the limited edition truly special is the "Imola Yellow". The exclusive body colour seems to give the car a new spirit. The limited edition model is also available in a second "Nimbus Gray" colour.

Other exterior features unique to the limited edition are, the body coloured fixed rear spoiler, the five spoke steel gray alloy wheels covered in 225/35 tyres and chrome mirror caps.

Leather upholstery on the inside is common for both body colours. The leather is the same Nimbus Gray, which is stitched with contrasting Imola Yellow accent stitching.

Being a limited edition model each car also comes with a numbered plaque. It reads "1 of 500" in the first car.

The special features end here. The engine is the same 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four cylinder unit, rated at 272 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque.

Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive can be still found, aided by the six speed S tronic transmission, which is available in both automatic and manual version.

Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The coupe version can reach 100km/h in 5.3 sec/5.5 sec for the automatic and manual respectively. The soft top version does it in 5.5sec/5.7sec respectively.

Audi will begin producing limited edition TTS Competition from October. Pricing has not been announced yet.
