Alfa Romeo SUV Confirmed
Alfa Romeo will in the near future come out with a Sports Utility Vehicle. This news has been confirmed by Alfa Romeo UK boss, Damien Dally. In an interview given to The Telegraph, Mar. Dally said, "There will certainly be an SUV in the next two or three years."
The upcoming Alfa Romeo SUV will benefit from technologies used from Fiat owned Jeep brand. Particularly, the new Jeep Cherokee that was introduced earlier this year at the New York Motor Show. The Cherokee's platform, which is already used by Alfa Romeo Giulietta will also make its way to the new SUV.
The Italian automaker has in fact already come out with renderings of what could influence the upcoming SUV model. The Alfa Romeo Kamal concept car though, bears a strong resemblance to Nissan Juke crossover.
A lot closer than the Alfa SUV, however, is the Alfa Romeo 4C sports car that made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Mr. Dally confirmed the 4C would be launched in the United Kingdom by the end of the year. On the other hand, Alfa fans in the U.S are still awaiting the 4C, which is set to mark Alfa Romeo's return to the States.
