2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Debuts As Diecast Model
With just under a week to go for the official launch of the 2014 Mercedes Benz S-Class we couldn't be more excited about the launch of the redesigned S-Class sporting a leaner and cleaner design. But as is the case many a times, images of the new car has been leaked, the only difference this time being the images are of a scale model.
These images of a diecast model of the 2014 Mercedes Benz S-Class are courtesy of French autoforum, Autoweek.nl member. The images show the new Merc S-Class in great detail, clearly displaying the new Mercedes design language that debuted on the A-Class.
Overall, the design lines are much smoother and curvier and the same goes for the headlamps on the front and the rear. The rear headlamps now wrap around the sides more prominently. The dual exhaust piles sport a new design as well. The more prominent changes come in the front. While the front grille has not changed much, the lower part of the front fascia gets completely redesigned as per Merc's new design philosophy. The secondary air intake is has been redesigned and also seen is a chrome air splitter.
Images are in the gallery below and official images of the interior, released in March, can be found here.
