India Bound 2014 Jeep Cherokee Revealed: Images
A vast set of official images showing the interior and exterior of the India bound 2014 Jeep Cherokee has been released on the eve of its unveiling at the new York Motor Show. The Cherokee is the first Jeep to make use of the the Alfa Romeo derived 'Compact U.S. Wide' platform, that will have separate front and rear suspension. The Cherokee will also provide both front and all wheel drive options.
Engine choices will include a 184 HP, 2.4 liter four cylinder unit and a 271 HP, 3.2 liter, Pentastar V6 engine. The Cherokee will offer a nine speed automatic transmission as standard, which is a first in the segment. Driving modes include Sport, Latitude,Limited and Trailhawk. Jeep promises high fuel economy, with a maximum of 31 mph on the highway. Jeep will also offer several optional luxury features. Stay tuned for a detailed report after its launch in India.
