Tata Nano emax CNG Announced
Tata Motors has not only announced a CNG variant of the 2013 Nano, but also of the 2013 Indigo eCS and the 2013 Indica eV2. Tata Motors CNG variants all wear the common ‘emax' badge on the rear.
The 2013 Tata nano emax CNG does not differ from the regular Nano in how it looks. The only visible changes are the ‘emax' badge, a green surround for the speedometer, and an ‘on-off' switch for the CNG fuel supply. The production Nano emax CNG may or may not come with a special graphics to advertise its green credentials.
Tata Nano CNG variant has the capacity to hold 32 liters of CNG fuel. Fuel efficiency figure mentioned by Tata is 36 km/kg, which is good for 400 km when used along with petrol. The best part, however, has to be the extremely low carbon emission figure, which stands at only 75 g/km.
2013 Tata Nano emax CNG will be launched in the coming months. Price is yet to be announced.
