2013 Indian Grand Prix Grid Girls Uniform
The 2013 Airtel Indian Grand Prix starts this weekend, from October 25 till October 27. It is the time of the year again when the high octane circus featuring sports cars, talented racers, racing teams bursting with nervous tension gather at the Buddh International Circuit outside Delhi.
Then there is the glamour, which is attracted like magnet to iron, that surrounds the motorsports. Besides the dozens of celebrities adding style and sparkle to the spectacle are the grid girls in their red uniforms.

Speaking about uniforms, this year's grid girls uniform has once again been designed by Mandira Wirk. For the Airtel Grand Prix 2013, ''EXPRESS YOURSELF" was chosen as the theme for the uniform design.
Expressing "elegance, femininity and sensuality" in her design Mandira Wirk has created designs inspired from trendy trench coats, since fall winter is near.
Trench coats being her favourite, Wirk has incorporated the latest design trends in her work to create three very elegant and stylish concept sketches of the uniforms, one of which will be worn during the race.
The uniforms are made from jersey, with belt, buttons and lapel adding to the sportiness of the uniform. The look is completed with wedges and airtel logo printed scarfs.
