Volkswagen Aqua - Game For Water, Ice, Sand
Volkswagen one of the leading carmakers in the world has been supporting innovators from across the globe who come up with interesting concepts. One such concept is the Volkswagen Aqua, developed by a 21 year old Chinese designer.
Yuhan Zhang designed the Volkswagen Aqua as a futuristic vehicle that can travel across different terrains.
He wanted to develop a vehicle that can be driven in China's diverse terrains and the result is the VW Aqua. The Volkswagen Aqua can be driven on water, sand and even ice.

The Volkswagen Aqua is not entirely a car. It acts like a hover craft while on water and sand.

The VW Aqua is powered by a hydrogen cells which power the car's primary engine that sends pressurised air under the surface and fans that are used to propel it. This set-up will help the Aqua to skim over ice, sand and water without much trouble

Yuhan Zhang has provided the Volkswagen Aqua a simple and clean exterior design that also helps in improving its aerodynamics.

The interior design is also has a minimalistic feel to it. With space for two individuals, this Volkswagen concept can be considered more as a recreational vehicle rather than a practical everyday vehicle.

Moreover, this design does not accommodate a proper door making ingress and egress a real headache.

The Volkswagen Aqua's design has been short-listed for the CDN Car Design Awards China.

The all terrain vehicle is an indication of how future cars will be designed. Vehicles that can travel on any surface allowing transport across different terrains in one vehicle.
