Tata's Small Wonder Nano To Get A Boost

Tata Nano
Tata Nano was expected to take the small car industry by storm. However in recent times, that has not turned to be true. Ratan Tata the Chairman of Tata Motors limited, has voiced out his concern.

Ratan Tata recently in an interview with Bloomberg UTV said, "The Nano is something I would love to take as a challenge to make successful, because I don't think it's exploited its full potential right now."

At the moment, it is pretty evident that the Nano is not receiving the desired attention. Tata Motors is hoping, to take the Nano to another level before its too late. One of the biggest concerns come from the sales front.

The company had managed to sell around 10,400 units in March; however the sales have now stabilised at around 5,500 units per month. What are your thoughts or suggestions for Tata Motors to get their small wonder back on track?

Let's not forget Tata Motor's has invested over 2,000 crore in setting up the sanand facility. The facility in Sanand, Gujarat is capable of rolling out 250,000 units per year.

Drivespark feels Tata Motors has to concentrate on advertising and promotional strategy. Apart from that the company has to definitely look into new features, competitive pricing and a strong dealership network. Tata need's to act quick before their Nanology becomes history. We would love to hear your thoughts?
