Tata Safari Storme Launched At INR 9.9 Lakhs
Tata had showcased the Safari Storme earlier in the year at the Delhi Auto Expo. Since then it has always been making the news with regards to its launch. Tata Motors today, has finally launched the much awaited Tata Safari Storme.
The all new Tata Safari is based on the Aria Platform. Tata's new Safari looks very similiar to the existing model that's doing its duty. However the Safari Storme has received fresh upgrades and would be slated against the likes of Mahindra Scorpio and Renault Duster.

The Tata Safari Storme will be powered by the same engine which powers the Safari Dicor.
The engine is a 2.2 litre16 Valve DOHC VTT VariCOR (Variable Turbine Technology with CRDI).This engine delivers 140 Bhp @ 4,000 RPM and 320 Nm @ 1,700-2,700 RPM.
The new Safari Storme comes with 200 mm ground clearance.
The 4WD variant is equipped with a 4-wheel drive electronic shift-on-fly mechanism with a limited slip differential.
Tata has given the front fascia an uplift in the Safari Storme.
The Safari Storme now features new headlamps, a chrome strip over its front grille.
The Safari Storme's engine is mated to a 5-speed G-76 (Mark II) manual gearbox.
On the fuel efficiency front, the Safari Storme 4×2 variant's fuel efficiency is rated at 14kmpl and the 4x4 variant returns 13.2 kmpl (ARAI certified).
Instrument Cluster: Two digital trip meters and analog tachometer. The instrument cluster also has a low fuel indicator warning and outside temperature indicator.
The Safari Storme has been launched in three variants - LX, EX and VX.
Customers have the choice to choose from seven color options such as Urban bronze, Astern Black, Sardinia Red, Pearl White, Pearl Champagne, Arctic White and Arctic Silver.
Dual Airbags for front driver and passenger. The Safari Storme is equipped with other safety features such as Anti-lock braking system (ABS 8.1) with Electronic Brakeforce distribution, engine immobilizer, reverse guide system with Display in IRVM, side impact bar, crumple zones.
