Tata Motors October Global Sales Up 6%
Global whole sales of all passenger vehicles were at 49,264 units, in October 2012, lower by 5%. Cumulative whole sales for the fiscal were 344,110 units, higher by 10%.
Global whole sales of Tata passenger vehicles were at 21,367 units, for the month, lower by 17%, over October 2011. Cumulative whole sales for the fiscal were flat at 155,319 units
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles - Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range -- were 51,396 units, in October 2012, higher by 19%, over October 2011. Cumulative whole sales for the fiscal were at 334,941 units, higher by 4%, over October 2011.
Global whole sales for Jaguar Land Rover in the month of October 2012 were 27,897 vehicles, higher by 7% over October 2011. Jaguar whole sales for the month were 3,339 and cumulative whole sales were 24,945 vehicles, while Land Rover whole sales for the month were 24,558 and cumulative whole sales were 163,846 vehicles. Cumulative whole sales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 188,791 vehicles, higher by 21%.
