Rolls-Royce Launches Phantom II In India
Rolls-Royce Royce has launched the Phantom Series II in India today. The Phantom Series II is an updated version of the venerable Phantom that was launched way back in 2003.
Rolls-Royce is the British luxury carmaker that has set new standards in automotive luxury. The Phantom is considered as the best car for some one looking for the ultimate in luxury and comfort. The Phantom Series II is an update that provides the Phantom with several new features and technical upgrades.

The new Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II now gets LED headlamps, 8-speed automatic gearbox, new driver assistance technologies, satellite navigation, front, rear and top view cameras and many more interesting features. The Phantom II's price has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be priced upwards of Rs.4.6 crores.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars' General Manager for Emerging Markets, Asia, Herfried Hasenoehrl, who unveiled the car yesterday said the company was looking to broaden its presence in India by opening two new showrooms. He also said the Luxury car segment was not under pressure do to the ongoing global economic crisis and Mr. Hasenoehrl expects the new Phantom Series II will be to the liking of Indian customers.
Rolls-Royce currently has three showrooms in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The fourth Rolls-Royce Showroom will be opened in Chandigarh while a fifth showroom could be set up closer to Maharashtra. The location for the new location has not been confirmed.
