Mahindra's New Bolero To Roll-out By 2015
Mahindra & Mahindra has yet again gone behind close doors. This time around they are working on the next generation Bolero [code name U301]. Mahindra is looking to come out with a fresh design. However the company will retain the original DNA of this mighty SUV.
The next generation Bolero which is slated to be launched in 2015 will be lighter. Mahindra is also working on a new stronger frame. Currently the Bolero runs on a tubular frame ladder chassis. Sources are reporting that the new Bolero will run on a hydroformed ladder chassis. The new chassis design is expected to underpin the all the body on frame SUVs in the coming days.
From the engine front, we expect Mahindra to power the Bolero with a new engine which can be a derivative of the current Mhawk engine series.
