Mercedes-Benz Wrenches Out Largest Workshop

Mercedes-Benz is known for providing world-class servicing standards. Mercedes-Benz India, has been expanding its network. The company's long term goal, is to move as close as possible to its customers and potential customers in the coming days.

Keeping that strategy in mind, Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated its largest workshop in India. The new workshop is located at Andheri (East) in Mumbai. This new workshop boosts, 54 dedicated bays managed by 155 service personnel.

Peter Honegg, MD and CEO of Mercedes Benz India commented on the workshop, "Our world-class servicing standards will be the key differentiator. We have been strategically expanding our network in India and this new workshop is yet another step to move closer to the customers."

It is believed an investment of INR 52 crore was required for this 1,00,000 sqft workshop. The workshop which will be run by Mercedes dealer, Auto Hangar, will cater to service tasks such as, general repairs, body repairs, paint jobs, wheel alignment and balancing, tyre change, car wash, polishing and round-the-clock support for service.
