Maruti Set To Launch Automatic Ritz
Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch an automatic variant of its popular Ritz hatchback. The leading Indian carmaker has updated its website with details about the upcoming automatic Ritz variant.
Here are some images of the Maruti Ritz in three new colours. Read on to know more about the Automatic Ritz's mileage, price and technical specs too.

The Automatic Ritz will be powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 83bhp and 114Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a four speed automatic gearbox that is already available in the A-Star and the Swift DZire.

Mistique Red
Maruti Suzuki has not added any new features the to Automatic Ritz Vxi. The only thing new apart from the automatic gearbox will be three new paint colours: mystique red, breeze blue and Granite grey.

Automatic Ritz - Mileage
Maruti Suzuki has indicated in its website that the automatic gearbox will be available only in the VXi variant. It has added that the Automatic Ritz will deliver a mileage of 17.6kmpl which is impressive considering the manual variant can deliver a mileage of 18.5kmpl.

The Automatic Ritz will be heavier than the manual variant by 20 kilos thanks to the automatic gearbox.

New Automatic Ritz Price
The most important aspect about the Maruti Suzuki Ritz Automatic is its price and not surprisingly, the carmaker has not revealed it. Expect the Automatic Ritz to be at least Rs.50,000 more expensive the manual VXi. There is a similar price difference between automatic and manual variants of the A-Star and Swift DZire.

The new Automatic Ritz will be competing against the likes of the Hyundai i10 AT and the recently launched Honda Brio AT
