Maruti Alto 800 Images Leaked - View Here

Maruti Suzuki's soon to be launched small car, the Alto 800 has been sighted and here are the images. Automobile Forum TeamBHP has posted images of the Alto 800 and the images indicate Maruti Suzuki will be launching a CNG variant along with petrol.

The exterior design of the Alto 800 gives us hints about the A-Star. The large front air dam is very similar to the A-Star. The rear design is also reminiscent of Maruti Suzuki's other small cars. The headlights are stylish.

The new Alto 800 has an attractive rear design dominated by large tail lamps. Some can say these are similar to the ones seen in the Hyundai i20.

The interior of the Alto 800 is trademark Maruti Suzuki. The dash board is finished in grey. The gear ever is placed slightly back so that there is a space for a mobile phone to be placed.

The Alto 800 gets a steering airbag. This is a first in a Maruti Suzuki entry level car. The Alto 800's speedometer shows a top speed of 180kmph. This is indeed an achievement for a car that is powered by a small 800cc engine.

Maruti is expected to launch the Alto 800 with CNG option too. This will make it an attractive option since there is no indication of petrol prices coming down.

A closer look in to the interior will show the steering has a air bag. This will be the first for an entry level car from Maruti Suzuki. The rest of the interior is regular Maruti Suzuki stuff with preference to function over looks.

The Alto 800 will be available with a petrol as well as a CNG engine. The much awaited small car could be the best thing to happen to Maruti Suzuki as demand for its best selling diesel cars such as the Swift and Swift DZire might come down following the diesel price hike.
