Mahindra Verito Facelift Launch On 25 This Month
Earlier we had reported that Mahindra Verito facelift sedan has been found testing on roads. Now rumours are that the Indian carmaker is all set to launch the new Verito on 25 of this month.
The Verito is the successor of the Logan which was manufactured by Mahindra in partnership with French carmaker Renault. Later, the partnership was closed and Logan was re-badged as the Verito with minor changes.
The Verito has been needing a facelift for quite some time now and hence Mahindra's work on the C-segment car. The Verito is reported to feature a new bumper, new headlamps, Xylo-like grill and fog lamp housings.
At the rear part, the Verito would get a redesigned boot lid, rear bumper and tail lights. The car is also reported to go under the scissors for a size-cut making it a sub-4 meter model. Then, it would be competing with the likes of recently launched Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and upcoming compact Tata Manza sedan.
The Verito has always been appreciated in the automotive circles for its powerful, highly frugal engine. The car features a spacious cabin as well, however, the large boot of the Verito would be short sized in the compact sedan. The new Verito is expected to be priced between Rs 5.5-7 lakhs.
