Elantra Chosen Ahead Of Audi A6 To Be Car Of Year
The new Hyundai Elantra all set to be launched in the Indian market soon. The carmaker has even started accepting bookings for the stylish car.
Meanwhile, there is another reason for the South Korean carmaker to cheer as the Hyundai Elantra has been adjudged "Car of the year 2011" at the seventh edition held by Nigerian Auto Awards. This is among the many awards the highly adorable car has already won.
Interestingly, the Elantra was chosen for the top award ahead of tough contenders such as
Audi A6, Toyota Avensis, Kia Optima, and Land Rover HSE. The Elantra emerged winner in the run over its head turning fluidic design and excellent driving dynamics.
The highly acclaimed Elantra which is on sale in several other markets has won several accolades including the North American Car The Year 2012 and Car of the Year 2012 at African Guild of Motoring Journalists. D-segment sedans in India like Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze, Toyota Corolla, Skoda Laura, Volkswagen Jetta and Renault Fluence are sure going to have a tough time to take away sales from Elantra.
