Ertiga Gains Whopping 8,500 Bookings In Indonesia

Following its success story in India, Suzuki Ertiga has received a warm welcome in Indonesia. The Ertiga. A public relations executive at Indomobil Suzuki Sales said that the Ertiga received close to 8,500 bookings even before its launch on May 7th.

The Ertiga has been wonders for Maruti Suzuki in India with the MPV receiving 400 orders on the launch day at Maharashtra before gaining a whopping 10,000 bookings in 5 days. Suzuki expects 1/3rd of its vehicles sold in Indonesia to be the Ertiga.

Ertiga, the first MPV from Maruti Suzuki is being exported to Indonesia as completely knocked down (CKD) kits. The MPV is available in 3 variants there; Ertiga GA, GL and GX priced at 8.27, 8.85 and 9.55 lakhs.

Meanwhile, the Ertiga comes in India at a starting price of Rs.5.89 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs.7.30 lakh for the diesel. However, the petrol variant has a waiting period of 1-2 months, while it will take 3-4 months for the diesel to be delivered.
