Chevrolet Readying Facelifted Spark Small Car
The Spark's design was getting a little old and needed a cosmetic treatment. The good news to the small car lovers are that the American auto giant is getting a facelift done for the Spark which could be launched sometime soon.
The facelifted spark was recently found testing on the city roads. With the launch of the new Spark, General Motors expect to grab a good amount of market share in the small car market where Maruti Sizuki Alto is the king with the Hyundai Eon following it.
There is no other information available about the new Spark, however, the company had earlier said that the cost of the car would be kept on check. A diesel engine would also find place in the new Spark as is the trend in the Indian market due to the unaffordable price of petrol.
We could see the competition at the small car segment further hotting up with the arrival of the new Spark and the Maruti Suzuki 800 replacement which would be launched sometime soon. Currently, the Spark small car is sold at a starting price of Rs 3.29 lakhs.
