BMW Launches New X6 At Rs.78.9L

BMW has launched yet another new car in India in the form of the new 2013 X6 Sports Activity Coupe. The new 2013 BMW X6 is priced at Rs.78.9 lakhs. BMW Group India President Philipp von Sahr unveiled the company's latest offering. The new X6 was launched at BMW's latest showroom in Faridabad, near Delhi. Deutsche Motoren is BMW's largest showroom in India.

The X6 will be available in two variants. The diesel powered xDrive40d and the petrol powered xDrive50i. The entry level xDrive40d gets a 3-litre V6 diesel engine capable of generating peak power of 306bhp and the maximum torque is 600Nm.

The xDrive50i has been built for the enthusiast who likes power and speed. The new BMW X6 petrol xDrive50i is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine that delivers incredible power and torque. The xDrive50i has 407bhp of power and 600Nm of torque at its disposal. The top end X6 is priced at Rs.93.4 lakhs.

Here is a look in to the performance of the two variants of the new 2013 BMW X6. The xDrive40d can accelerate to 100kmph in 6.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 236kmph.

The petrol powered xDrive50i on the other hand can accelerate up to 240kmph while hitting the 100kmph mark from 0 in 5.4 seconds.

BMW has made some notable changes in the new X6 which include new kidney grille, repositioned fog lamps, new LED taillights, muscular front that commands appeal, new interiors with a raised seating position, sports seats and many more

Colours

The 2013 BMW X6 launched today will be available in nine new colours. They are: Alpine White (non-metallic), Black Sapphire, Deep Blue Sea, Marrakesh Brown, Midnight Blue, Space Grey, Orion Silver, Titanium Silver and Vermillion Red.
