BMW Launches 6-Series Gran Coupe At 86.4L
BMW has launched the latest generation 6-series Gran Coupe priced at Rs.86.4 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) yesterday. The new model launch increases the already raging competition between German rivals BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
The new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will be available in just one variant powered by a diesel engine. The BMW Twin Power Diesel engine powering the 640d Gran Coupe can hurl it to 100kmph within 5.4 seconds and to a top speed of 250kmph.

BMW has already launched the Coupe and convertible versions of the 6-Series in 2011. The BMW 6-Series Grand Coupe marks the complete array of 6-Series models in India.
The new 6-Series Gran Coupe will be available in the following paint colours:
Alpine White (non-metallic)
Black Sapphire
Deep Sea Blue
Havanna
Orion Silver
Space Grey
Mineral White
Titanium Silver
Vermillion Red.
The six cylinder engine in the 6-Series Gran Coupe can generate 313bhp of power and an impressive 630Nm of torque. BMW has claimed a ARAI certified mileage figure of 18.18kmpl.
BMW has stated that it will launch more new cars in India starting with the next generation X1 and the new 1-Series.
The X1 is BMW's best selling SUV in India and the next generation X1 will provide BMW an opportunity to wrest back the advantage gained by Audi which is basking in the glory of the recently launched Q3 premium SUV
