The company has announced the 2013 Range Rover will be made available across 170 markets, with delivery starting as early as December 2012 in certain markets. European markets and Asian markets would receive a new diesel-electric hybrid variant for 2013.

The Hybrid diesel variant will use Jaguar Land Rover's new hybrid power-plant which will come in the form of a 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with an integrated electric motor and a lithium-ion battery package.

Moving to India specifically, the 2013 model will be offered in 5.0L Supercharged V8 Petrol variant as well as 4.4L TDV8 Diesel variant. Both these variants will be offered in eight-speed automatic transmission.
