What Do You Think About The Ariel Atom?

The Ariel's ticket to fame is its acceleration. Its light body, high power to weight ratio make its possibly the fastest accelerating car in the world. In fact it gets to 100kmph from 0 faster than the Bugatti Veyron – the world's fastest car with a sprint time of just 2.5 seconds. While the Veyron is yours if you pay about RS.16 crores, the Atom can be at your door step at a fraction of its price.
Ariel now has InterGloble enterprises as its business partner the Indian business house will act as the carmaker's exclusive importer in India. The Atom range of cars are technically road legal cars but if you look at them you will feel they are stripped out track cars. Ariel has a long fan list of buyers who take their cars to weekend track days in Britain.
The Atom is yet another sports car that has been launched in India. Although the current market scenario is not very encouraging foreign car brands are pouring in to India to ensure they have a market presence when there is a boom. The Atom joins recent sports car launches such as the Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador and the Range Rover Evoque.
Ariel's president and CEO Nigel Harwood described the Atom as a perfect sports car for the motor enthusiast that will offer fun and performance both on the track and on the road. While we are sure about one track where buyers can drive the atom at its fullest power but we aren't sure if this car can be driven an full speed on our Indian roads.
