Ford Endeavour Thunder+ Review
With the overall length of 4,998mm the Thunder+ makes a Mercedes M class shorter and could rightly be called the biggest SUV around. New added features included 16inch lockable wheel cover, the sporty rear spoiler, the rear ladder, two-tone side body cladding, the exterior rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators and puddle lamps, front bumper over-rider etc...
Thunder+ of course has great road presence with the large body and to an extent it resemble a truck than an SUV. Ford Endeavour offers more room than any other cars available today. To make the spacious interior more lovely, Ford has paid more attention to the colour schemes, material quality, comfortable positioning etc... Legrooms and headroom will make the user more than happy. The Thunder+ in addition comes decked with a roof mounted slide down DVD player as well as sporty pedals. The high quality leather seats provide comfortable seating and great under thigh support and also gives you the clear view of the roads ahead. The engine is 3 liters with a larger bore. The Duel Overhead Camshaft technology remains the same as in the previous model. The engine has 16 valves and variable Geometry Turbo. The engine reaches from zero to hundred at a short time. The staggering 380Nm of torque is produced at a maximum rpm of 2,500 and 156bhp of power developed at a maximum rpm of 3,200. Thunder+ boasts on 4x4 transmission which makes it fitting for off-road rides.
Ford has incorporated some active safety features like Anti-lock Braking System and Electronic Brake force Distribution etc... to add to the safety features of the car. Driver and passenger-side airbags, front seat-belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, front and side impact beams and various crumple zones etc... are additional features that ensure the safety of the people inside the car. The increased diameter of the shock absorber offers better handling and the repairable breakaway front bumper minimises the impact of collision.
In fact, Endeavour Thunder+ is the most powerful and safe car in the SUV segment which has entered the automobile market to re-write all the out dated statements of beauty, power and masculinity. The car is priced at Rupees 17,32,000 lakhs, but it is worth paying for it.
