The XUV 7XO offers a compelling driving experience, particularly with its powerful engine options. The diesel engine, especially the automatic, feels refined with robust pulling power across the speed range. While there are no paddle shifters, manual control is possible via the gear lever. The steering is light at low speeds and gains weight as the pace increases, providing good responsiveness.

A key innovation in the XUV 7XO is the "Davinci suspension system." This technology automatically adjusts the suspension according to the road conditions, aiming to deliver a consistently comfortable ride. The suspension is on the softer side, effectively absorbing bumps and imperfections. Despite its size, body roll is managed very well, particularly in the front row, allowing the SUV to handle high-speed corners capably.

Standard safety equipment across variants includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill hold, hill descent control, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The XUV 7XO is expected to perform well in crash safety tests, building on the XUV700's 5-star rating.
