So when Tata decided to facelift it for the second time, there was genuine curiosity about how far they've pushed things. The answer, with the 2026 Tata Tiago, is: further than you'd expect.

The AMT variant of the 2026 Tata Tiago CNG, s mentioned before now comes with paddle shifters that allow drivers to take control of the gear shifts, which is a first in the segment and for a CNG car sold in India.

On the move, the CNG powertrain on the 2026 Tata Tiago continues to be unhurried. Power delivery is linear with no abrupt surges, though a dip in midrange pull is noticeable. It handles city commuting well enough but falls short when a more enthusiastic throttle input is demanded.
