2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Review: Same Electric SUV, Just Better
At Auto Expo 2025, South Korean carmaker Kia introduced the facelifted EV6 to the Indian market. The 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift featured a revised design, new ADAS features, and a slightly larger battery pack for that extra bit of range.
We recently had the opportunity to test the facelifted Kia EV6 at the firm's facilities in Andhra Pradesh, and the following are our thoughts after spending a few hours behind the wheel of the updated electric SUV. The Kia EV6 is still offered only in GT Line trim and is priced at Rs 65.8 lakh (ex-showroom).

2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Review: What's Changed?
The facelifted Kia EV6 features an updated design. The 2025 model sports updated bumpers and Kia's Star Map LED headlights. Integrated hook-shaped DRLs, connected by an LED light bar spanning the length of the mostly blanked-off grille, can also be seen. Additionally, the rear bumper and the 19-inch alloy wheels have been tweaked.

The interior of the Kia EV6 has undergone a few subtle changes, with the cabin now sporting the same 3-spoke steering wheel seen on the EV9, which also features a dedicated button to switch between drive modes. A new textured finish has been added to the centre console, along with a fingerprint scanner that allows you to start the EV6 without a key.
The safety kit has been updated with a Level 2 ADAS setup featuring 17 new functions, including lane-keeping, follow and exit assistance, smart cruise control with stop-and-go capability, blind-spot collision avoidance, and forward collision avoidance, among others.

The biggest change, though, comes in the form of a larger battery pack. The new 84 kWh (up from the previous 77.4 kWh unit) battery pack features NMC chemistry, which Kia claims is lighter and more energy-dense.
This enhancement in capacity allows for an ARAI range of 663 km (581 km WLTP - 53 km more than the previous version). The battery can fast-charge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes, provided you can find a 350 kW charger; with a slower 50 kW DC charger, that time rises to 73 minutes.

2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Review: How Does It Drive?
The facelifted Kia EV6's headline figures have remained the same, with the dual-motor setup still producing 320 bhp and a potent 605 Nm of peak torque to all four wheels of the electric SUV.
Kia claims a 0-100 km/h time of 5.3 seconds (0.1 seconds slower than before), and during our time behind the wheel at the firm's test track, we managed to achieve these figures with ease while also experiencing the nausea-inducing sensation of being pinned back into the seat every time we applied too much throttle.
The suspension setup remains on the sportier side of the spectrum. This tight suspension, combined with a low centre of gravity, means that the Kia EV6 is far more agile than would normally be expected from a vehicle of its size. However, the sporty suspension does not render the ride harsh.
2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Review: Verdict & Final Thoughts - The Same SUV, Just Better
The Kia EV6 was one of the best premium electric SUV offerings in India back in 2022 - practical, spacious, and faster than anything its size would normally be. The 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift tweaks the design slightly, adds more equipment, and features a larger battery pack that should extend the real-world range to around the 400 km mark (although we did not have sufficient time to test this thoroughly). This combination ensures that the EV6 remains an attractive option for those willing to invest in it.
