Most Searched Bikes And Scooters In India 2018 — Jawa Becomes Google’s Top Trending Bike In India
Did you know which are the most searched bikes and scooters in India according to Google? The list of Google's top-trending two-wheelers (bikes & scooters) for the year 2018 shows that the Jawa motorcycles have created the maximum interest in the Indian market. Following the Jawa Motorcycles closely is the TVS Apache series in the second position.
If we see the top-selling two-wheelers in the Indian market, we can notice that the product with the highest sales figures doesn't need to be the most popular. Most of the bikes and scooters in the top-selling list are not even in Google's trending chart.

10. BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS
The BMW G 310 Twins (G 310 R & GS) are the first ever motorcycles from the German manufacturer to be assembled in India. The two motorcycles are also the most affordable BMW Motorrad products in the Indian market. The motorcycles are assembled at the TVS Motors factory in Hosur.
9. Hero XPulse 200
The XPulse 200 has not even been launched in the Indian market, although it has created quite a buzz online. The motorcycle was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and is expected to be launched early next year. Once launched in India, the XPulse 200 will be the most affordable ADV offering in the Indian market.
8. Hero Destini 125
The Hero Destini is the first scooter from the brand in the 125cc segment. The scooter was recently launched in India and is one of the most affordable 125cc scooters in the segment.
7. TVS Radeon
The Radeon was a surprise launch from the company in 2018. It is the latest commuter motorcycle offering from TVS Motors and is also the only commuter motorcycle to make it to Google's top-trending list.
6. Hero Xtreme 200R
The Xtreme 200R is one of the most powerful offerings from Hero MotoCorp. However, it isn't known for its performance, rather a more linear power delivery more in line with that of a 160cc motorcycle. It is also one of the most affordable 200cc motorcycles in its segment.
5. Suzuki Burgman Street
Burgman Street is one of the most comfortable and feature-packed scooters in the 125cc segment. It is the only two-wheeler currently in India to offer a maxi-scooter design.
4. TVS NTorq 125
The NTorq 125 from TVS is one of the most popular scooters in the 125cc segment. It offers good performance, a host of segment-first features, along with an extremely sporty and stylish design.
3. Suzuki Intruder
The Intruder is one of the only cruiser-style motorcycles from Suzuki in the 150cc segment. The Intruder borrows its design cues from its larger sibling, with the same name. The design of the Intruder is either ‘love it' or ‘hate it' and is extremely subjective to the customer.
2. TVS Apache
The Apache series of motorcycle from TVS has a number of product offerings, from the base RTR 160 to the flagship RR 310. The Apache series has been on sale in the market for a long time and has seen a number of updates and iterations.
1. Jawa Motorcycles
Jawa owned by Mahindra recently brought back the classic motorcycles in two iterations - Jawa & Jawa 42. Both motorcycles were recently launched in the market, creating a lot of buzz online. The company is yet to completely set up its dealerships, with a few in Bangalore and other cities being recently opened. Jawa also recently stopped accepting bookings as the motorcycles have been booked till September 2019.
