All You Need To Know About The New Hero Passion XPro 110

Specifications

Currently, Hero MotoCorp retails the entry-level Passion Pro with a 97.2cc engine. The Passion XPro 110 will feature a bigger 110cc engine producing 9.3bhp and 9Nm of torque. The same engine is also deployed in the Super Splendor. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

Features

The new Passion Pro will also feature iSmart start/stop technology to automatically shut off the engine when idling and switching on when the clutch lever is pressed. The new motorcycle is expected to replace the XPro variant which was discontinued in March.

Design

On the design front, the new Passion XPro 110 will be identical to its 100cc sibling. Hero might also introduce the analog-digital instrument cluster seen on the Splendor 110. Apart from that, all the components will remain identical to the currently sold model.

Price

Due to the iSmat technology, the new Passion XPro will offer an improved mileage as compared to the 100cc motorcycle. The Hero Passion XPro is likely to carry a price tag of around Rs 57,000 ex-showroom.

The Hero Passion XPro is likely to kick-start the introduction of an array of new products slated for 2018. The other products to be launched in India are the Xtreme 200S and a new 125cc scooter which will rival Honda's best-selling Activa.

Hero MotoCorp has already revealed that it will be launching a slew of new products in the current financial year. It looks like the first product on the list is the Passion XPro. The bigger Passion will help to strengthen its position in the commuter motorcycle segment.
