Kawasaki Z800 Ready For Launch In India
Kawasaki is on the offensive in India. The Japanese sports bike manufacturer from Japan which recently launched its flagship superbikes, Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-14R is expected to soon introduce the newly launched Z1000 liter class naked sports bike in India.

But that's not all, joining the Z1000 will be its smaller sibling, the Z800. In fact, Kawasaki has already placed display bikes in its showroom in Pune.

Kawasaki Z800 is powered by a 806 cc liquid cooled, fuel injected, in-line four cylinder engine. The engine generates 113 PS power at 10,200 rpm and a peak torque of 83 Nm at 8,000 rpm and is mated to a 6 speed transmission.
Kawasaki Z800's styling is similar to the Z1000, sporting an aggressive and muscular look. However, the Z800 belongs to the previous generation resulting in notable visual differences with the 2014 Z1000 in the headlight, the tail, the semi fairings and the exhaust can.

Kawasaki Z800 is held by a high-tensile steel frame, supported by a 41 mm inverted fork at the front and a gas charged monoshock at the rear. Breaking is provided by twin 310 mm petal discs at the front and a single 250 mm petal brake disc at the rear.
Kawasaki Z800 is expected to be launched either alongside the Z1000, either in December or January. If not, soon after the Z1000 is launched. Kawasaki Z800 will be assembled locally which should let them sell it for under INR 10 lakhs.
