Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R & ZX14R Launched In India; Priced Competitively
Speculations have been proved right. Motorcycle enthusiasts across India will be elated to know that Kawasaki has introduced not just the ZX10R superbike, but also the ZX14R, one of the fastest production bikes on the planet.
Both superbikes will be imported to India as completly built units. These 'Ninjas' will not be sold via Bajaj Probiking outlets, instead the company would be selling these bikes at Kawasaki stand alone stores.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R: INR 15.70 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune)
Comes with an inline, liquid cooled 998cc engine that generates a massive 200 HP and 112 Nm torque. Gearbox is a six speed unit. Front forks are inverted and fully adjustable while adjustable mono shock does duty at the rear. Brake discs measure 310mm with petal style drill pattern at the front and 220 mm at the rear.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R: INR 16.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune)
The ZX14R is considered as one of the fastest bikes on the planet that is electronically limited to just below 300 km/h. But it is easily capable of exceeding that figure. The 1441cc in-line four cylinder engine generates 210 HP and comes with ram-air cooling system, which is pushes more air to cool the engine as the bike travels faster. The same six speed transmission is used here as well. The main difference comes with the design. The 10R is more track oriented, while the 14R, despite more raw power at its disposal, is more comfortable to ride and is thus suitable for long rides.
