Kawasaki Z250 naked sports bike has been showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show. The quarter liter sports bike resembles its liter class counterpart, the Z1000, but one that's been toned down and less muscular.

Kawasaki Z250 also takes styling cues from Ninja 300, such as the alloy wheel design and the chrome plated exhaust can. Basically, Kawasaki Z250 is a stripped down Ninja 250 with some styling elements from its larger naked streetfighter Z1000.

While Kawasaki has not released technical details it's likely to develop the same 33 HP from its 249cc, fuel injected, liquid cooled motor.

The prospects of Kawasaki introducing the Z250 in India are high. For starters, there have been rumors that the Japanese manufacturer was considering bringing back the Ninja 250. The Z250 would fit the bill just as well.
