Tata Tigor Facelift Design Patented: Could Borrow Major Upgrades From Tiago Facelift
Tata Motors has patented the design of the upcoming Tata Tigor facelift in India. This updated compact sedan is expected to borrow several design elements and features from the recently launched Tata Tiago facelift.
Tata Tigor Facelift Launching Soon
The Tigor is Tata's sub-4-metre compact sedan, sold alongside the Tiago hatchback. Similar to its hatchback sibling, it is offered in petrol, CNG, and electric variants. The facelifted model is expected to launch later this year with multiple upgrades.
Design Inspired By Tiago Facelift

The new Tigor facelift is likely to share several styling elements with the Tiago facelift. These could include LED headlamps, body-coloured bumpers, dual-tone roof options, redesigned tail lamps, and updated alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, Tata is expected to carry over features like the segment-first 360-degree camera, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, floating touchscreen infotainment system, and dual-tone fabric upholstery.
Engine And Features

Powering the Tigor facelift will likely be the familiar 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and the 1.2-litre CNG engine. The AMT variant is also expected to continue with paddle shifters.
Some of the premium features could include rain-sensing wipers, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, iRA Connected Car Technology with over 35 connected features, 65W Type-C charging ports at the front and rear, twin wireless chargers, and automatic climate control.
Tigor EV Could Also Get Updated

The electric version of the Tigor could also receive a facelift alongside the ICE model. It is expected to continue with the 26 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of 315 km. The Tigor EV could additionally feature an IP67-rated battery pack and an extended warranty package.
The updated Tigor and Tigor EV are expected to carry a slight premium over the outgoing models. Currently, the Tigor starts at Rs 5.54 lakh, while the Tigor EV is priced from Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
