Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage Revealed As Tribute To Veyron & Its Legendary Creator
Bugatti has unveiled the F.K.P. Hommage, a bespoke one-off creation developed to commemorate the 20-year legacy of the Bugatti Veyron. The car has been commissioned as a tribute to Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch, whose leadership was central to the Veyron project and Bugatti's modern revival.
The F.K.P. Hommage has been created under Bugatti's Programme Solitaire, a division dedicated to one-of-one vehicles with extensive customisation. It is the second project revealed under this programme and has been developed as a heritage-driven design study rather than a new series-production model.

The Veyron's origins date back to the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show, where its concept version introduced a design language that differed sharply from contemporary supercars. Instead of angular, wedge-shaped proportions, the Veyron adopted a reclined stance with a dropping beltline and strong surface continuity.
Those proportions form the foundation of the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage. Bugatti has retained the Veyron's core visual architecture while reworking the surfaces to align with modern aerodynamic and cooling requirements.

At the front, the Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage features a three-dimensional horseshoe grille, machined from a single block of aluminium. The grille flows directly into the surrounding bodywork, maintaining a seamless transition between functional and aesthetic elements.
The car also retains the distinctive air intakes positioned behind the occupants' heads, a defining Veyron cue. Larger front intakes have been integrated to meet the cooling demands of the evolved W16 powertrain. The F.K.P. Hommage runs 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear, paired with current-generation Michelin tyres.

Paint is a major highlight of the one-off Bugatti F.K.P. Hommage project. The exterior uses a silver aluminium-based base coat, topped with a red-tinted clear coat, creating depth and visual movement across curved surfaces. Contrasting sections are finished in black-tinted exposed carbon fibre, using specialised clear-coat pigment technology.
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage departs from the interiors of recent W16-powered Bugattis. A circular steering wheel replaces the flat-bottom unit used on models such as the Chiron, directly referencing the original Veyron.

The centre console and tunnel cover are fully bespoke components. These parts are machined from solid aluminium blocks and finished using traditional metalworking techniques. Upholstery materials have been developed exclusively for this one-off car. Bugatti has used custom fabrics woven in Paris, combined with leather and suede elements selected to reflect early Veyron interiors.
A unique feature inside the cabin is the integration of a 41mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon. The mechanical timepiece is mounted on the dashboard within a dedicated aluminium housing.
The housing features engine-turned polishing, a direct reference to Bugatti's historic straight-eight engines. The watch was incorporated at the request of the commissioning customer.

The F.K.P. Hommage is powered by the quad-turbocharged W16 engine producing 1,600hp, as used in the Chiron Super Sport. This represents the final and most advanced iteration of Bugatti's W16 architecture.
Bugatti has confirmed that the F.K.P. Hommage will be showcased publicly at Rétromobile Paris from Wednesday, January 28 to Sunday, February 1, 2026. The car will then be delivered to its owner .
