Honda Super-ONE Compact EV Revealed - The One We Wish Honda Would Bring To India
Honda has unveiled the near-production Super-ONE compact electric hatchback at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. The Honda Super-ONE was first seen in concept form at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The all-new Honda Super-ONE will be sold in the firm's home market of Japan. The Super-ONE will also be sold in select Asian and Oceania markets (India is currently not expected to get the tiny EV), and in the UK, where it is expected to sport the Super-N nameplate.

The Honda Super-ONE adopts a tall-boy hatch profile. It features a low, wide stance, flared wheel arches and eight-spoke blacked-out alloy wheels pushed to the vehicle's corners to maximise stability and cabin space.
Other exterior details of the Super-ONE include circular LED headlamps framing a central nose panel and integrated charging-port flaps, a standard Honda 'H' badge in place of the 0 Series emblem, and vertical air-ducts in front and rear bumpers for aerodynamic and cooling functions.

Honda has kept the Super-ONE's cabin layout deliberately simple, with a horizontal dashboard that aligns slim vents, a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Controls combine modern touch inputs with physical buttons and rotary knobs for frequently used functions, while a two-spoke steering wheel, sport seats and blue interior accents.
The Honda Super-ONE conforms to Japan's Kei-car length restrictions and measures under 3.4 metres. However, other details about the Honda Super-ONE, including the battery capacity, motor output or range figures, are currently not available.

The Super-ONE EV includes a Boost Mode for on-demand power and a simulated seven-speed transmission plus a bespoke virtual engine sound designed to enhance engagement for drivers seeking a dynamic, emotive drive in an urban package.
Positioned beneath Honda's forthcoming 0 Series, the Super-ONE is intended as an accessible, sporty city EV that broadens the brand's electric lineup while preserving small-car practicality and catering to younger, style-conscious buyers in dense urban markets.

The Super-ONE arrives as compact electric cars gain traction globally, where packaging efficiency and urban usability increasingly influence the choices of buyers. We do wish Honda would bring this little electric kei car to India, though that does seem more like a distant dream.
