2025 Tata Tigor Sedan: Top 5 Things You Should Know
The 2025 Tata Tigor has been launched with a starting price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). This compact sedan retains its familiar shape but introduces minor design tweaks and new features.
Design
The front grille and bumper have subtle changes, while the rear bumper has been redesigned. Despite these updates, the 15-inch alloy wheels and coupe-like design remain unchanged.

New Features
The feature list for the 2025 Tata Tigor has seen significant revisions. From the base model, it now includes a smart steering wheel with illumination and a fully digital instrument cluster. Additionally, new fabric seats, ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, and LED tail lights are standard on the base XE trim level.
The top-tier XZ plus Lux variant boasts a 10.25-inch floating infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes a 360-degree camera, shark fin antenna, automatic temperature control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control among other features.
Engine Specs
Tata has not altered any specifications for the Tigor's engine. It continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or an automated manual transmission. The petrol version delivers 85bhp and 113Nm of torque, while CNG variants produce 72bhp and 95Nm of torque.
Pricing & Variants
The pricing structure for the Tigor has been adjusted along with its variants. The previous base variant XE is discontinued; now, the range starts with the XM variant priced at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, this is lower than the previous XM variant's price of Rs 6.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
A new top-end variant called XZ Plus Lux is introduced at Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the XZ plus variant now costs Rs 7.90 lakh-Rs 10,000 more than before. In terms of CNG options, two new trims have been added: XT replaces XM as the base trim priced at Rs 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom) XZ plus Lux tops out at Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while XZ plus costs Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
