Mahindra XUV 3XO Is Much More Than Just A XUV300 Facelift: All Details Here
Mahindra recently launched the new XUV 3XO in the Indian market. Though a new name in the Mahindra product portfolio, the model is actually a facelifted version of the XUV300. Mahindra has also made sure the new XUV 3XO is more than just a simple facelift of the Mahindra XUV300.
Starting with the obvious changes, the new XUV 3XO showcases a revamped design that focuses on refining the aesthetics and utility of the vehicle, particularly through its plastic components rather than altering its sheet metal framework.

Notably, the tailgate has been reworked to not only enhance its appearance but to also expand boot space by an impressive 40 litres, improving both form and function on the new Mahindra XUV 3XO.
The XUV 3XO borrows several high-tech features from Mahindra's flagship XUV700. This includes an advanced infotainment system, ADAS modules, a Surround View System (SVS) with four cameras, and a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system.
Under the bonnet, the first option is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 112bhp and 200Nm of torque. The second is a more powerful 1.2-litre TGDI petrol engine, capable of producing 130bhp and up to 250Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, with an option for a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The diesel variant on the other hand has been updated with an AdBlue system to comply with the stricter BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, showcasing Mahindra's commitment to environmental sustainability. This model continues to put out 115bhp and 300Nm of torque from its 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
The vehicle's suspension setup has undergone significant changes based on customer input, resulting in enhanced ride quality and control. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) technology has been upgraded to a 9.3 system from Bosch, allowing for more precise calculations and improved braking performance. These improvements underscore Mahindra's focus on delivering a vehicle that is both comfortable and safe to drive.

Price-wise, the XUV 3XO is positioned competitively within the compact SUV segment. It offers a lower entry price point compared to its rivals, but the top-spec variant, which includes premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS tech, and dual-zone climate control, comes at a higher price.
