Low-Mileage Ferrari California To Highlight Hampson’s No Reserve Classic Car Auction
Hampson’s Autumn sale at Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire on 22nd September features several notable cars offered at No Reserve. Leading the list is a 2013 Ferrari California with under 5,500 miles, maintained by Stratstone Ferrari of Wilmslow. The car's second owner describes it as in 'excellent' condition. This high-specification model includes factory options like a carbon fibre pack and Daytona seats.
For British sportscar enthusiasts, the No Reserve list includes a 2005 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. This car was RS Fabrication's development vehicle and has been subtly tuned to boost the N400 edition’s output by 10% to 440hp, with a 30% increase in torque. Another low mileage gem is a 1997 Ford Fiesta Encore with just under 10,000 miles. The vendor claims it belongs in a Ford collection due to its 'as-new' condition.
The sale also features two Jensens: a 1971 FF and a 1972 Interceptor SP. The FF is well-known in Jensen circles and was originally owned by GKN for testing its four-wheel drive system. The SP is one of only 25 cars produced with Reef Blue paintwork from a total run of 232.
A rare pre-HE model, the 1978 Jaguar XJS V12, complete with its Leyland Cars Passport to Service booklet and original book pack, adds another touch of classic English Grand Tourer style to the sale. Additionally, the stately 1959 Alvis TD21 Drophead Coupé has been in the same family for its entire life but needs recommissioning after being stored for over 25 years.
The No Reserve list also includes a dignified 1951 Jaguar Mk V 3.5-litre drophead coupé, one of just 108 right-hand-drive examples built. It comes with a large history file and has had only two former keepers.
Unique Collectibles
A rare find is the 1963 Austin Mini Super De Luxe, an early floor-start example kept in very original condition. Also featured is a smart 1968 MG C roadster, which has been with the same enthusiast for 22 years, and a barn-find 1979 MG Midget with hard top that has had just three owners from new.
Another unique offering is the sought-after 1992 TWR V8S, which has covered less than 900 miles in the past 19 years. Fresh from long-term enthusiast ownership is a resprayed and ceramic-coated 1947 MG YA from earlier this year.
Something Different
For those seeking something different, there’s a striking black gel coat paint Volkswagen Beach Buggy from 1964 with silver flakes. These charismatic vehicles add diversity to the auction lineup.
This auction presents an exceptional opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike to acquire rare and well-maintained vehicles without reserve prices.
