Caeleb Dressel Clinches Silver And Gold At Paris 2024, Elevating Team USA's Tally
Caeleb Dressel secured a silver medal in the men’s swimming 4x100m medley relay at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Dressel swam the butterfly leg, clocking a time of 49.41 seconds. The U.S. team finished second with an overall time of 3:28.01.
Dressel also added another gold medal to his collection by contributing to Team USA’s victory in the 4×100 mixed medley relay on Saturday after participating in the semifinals. "I wouldn’t have changed anything about this week," Dressel said. "I had a lot of fun before the races. Could’ve had a little more after the races if I swam a little quicker. But it was a really fun time with these guys and girls (his U.S. Swimming teammates)."

Earlier in the games, Dressel won gold in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay, further enhancing his illustrious career with these two medals. The Floridian is now one of the most decorated U.S. swimmers in history, boasting nine gold medals and his first silver.
The 27-year-old swimmer medaled in three out of his five events during the Olympic Games Paris 2024, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
