This Dude In Hyderabad Gets Speeding Fines Of Rs 1.8 Lakh! Another Fraud Or The Real Deal?
A Honda Jazz in Hyderabad has been caught speeding on the city’s outer ring road for over a year, a total fine amount of Rs 1.8 Lakh has been registered against the vehicle.
A Honda Jazz in Hyderabad has received fine amounts adding up to a total of Rs 1.8 Lakh over the course of one year. Reports from Team-BHP mentions that the car has been caught speeding multiple number of times on the city's outer ring road.
The eight-lane outer ring road of Hyderabad initially had a speed limit of 120km/h, which was later reduced to 100km/h to cut down the increasing number of accidents caused due to speeding.
The e-challan portal of the state of Telangana has registered the Honda Jazz clocking speeds of up to 163km/h.
The car has been fined a total of 127 times between April 4th 2017 and March 10th 2018. With penalty charges of Rs 1,435 including a user charge of Rs 35 for each offence, a total fine amount of Rs 1,82,245 has been registered on the Jazz.
Recently, the Union Road Transport Ministry increased the speed limits on highways and expressways to 100km/h and 120km/h respectively, thanks to improvement in highway infrastructure and vehicle technologies.
Thoughts On The Speeding Fine On The Honda Jazz
Though highways around the country have seen vast improvements in recent years, it is definitely no place to test the speed limits of cars. It is always better to stick to the given speed limits while out on public roads.
