Next Gen Maruti Suzuki WagonR And WagonR Stingray Images Leaked
Images of the next generation WagonR and Stingray have leaked, giving us a peek at the new design of the vehicles.
The next generation all-new Maruti Suzuki WagonR and the WagonR Stingray images have surfaced online, and the design resembles undoubted Japanese styling.
The leaked images are of the Japanese spec variants, which feature split front grille and headlamps, a distinctively designed B-Pillar, door mounted rearview mirrors, and mildly flared wheel arches.
Moving towards the rear, the design language is kept to its minimum, with a clean look and tail lamps positioned low, just above the bumper.
The WagonR Stingray on the other hand, gets a tradition single, large front grille in contrast to the WagonR, and the headlights are placed one on top of the other, giving it a one-piece look.
The side and rear design are similar to the WagonR, including the B-pillar design that gives the car a bold look from the side.
As of now, there are no images of the interior, or news about the engine, but expect the Japanese spec variants to be powered by the popular 660cc petrol engine.
When the new WagonR and the Stingray do make it to India at a later stage, we can expect the design to be tweaked a little to suit the Indian liking. Also, when the cars do make it to India, they will be powered by the 1.0-litre engine that does its duty on the current generation WagonR.
