McLaren Unveil 2015 Formula One Livery
McLaren had recently revealed their drivers line up for 2015 Formula One Championship. It consisted of Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button as the main drivers with Kevin Magnussen as their third/reserve driver.
It is no secret that McLaren will not be using Mercedes engine in the 2015 championship. The Woking based company had announced that it would be partnering with Honda for a competitive engine. Now the manufacturer has unveiled its 2015 race livery.
McLaren have christened their 2015 competition car the ‘MP4-30'. Along with a new engine provider the team also sports an all new livery. It has a revised silver with black and red accent highlights. They have tried to re-create the livery that was used by earlier Honda-McLaren F1 cars.
The Woking based team has worked hard on their MP4-30 over the winter. McLaren believe they have a race winning combination with Honda's engine. We will have to wait until Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button get behind the wheel and put the F1 car through its paces.
Honda's RA615H is packaged with an all new aerodynamic McLaren car. It features an all new nose section along with a slim rear section around gearbox. The Body has also been more sculpted and contoured to suit the new regulations.
Scuderia Ferrari will also be revealing their 2015 F1 car with Sebastian Vettel behind the wheel. Force India and Lotus have already revealed their 2015 championship vehicle. Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button have promised to work on their new McLaren to make it competitive from the first race itself.
