Eddie Braun Jumps The Snake River Canyon — Evel Knievel Would Have Been Proud

American stuntman Eddie Braun has successfully jumped the infamous Snake River Canyon completing the dream of his hero, Evel Knievel.

In 1974, Evel Knievel had attempted to clear the infamous snake river canyon on his steam powered Skycycle X-2 rocket, but stunt failed after the parachute deployed during the launch.

Braun used the same technology, but made his jump a few kilometres away from Knievel's jump spot. This time, the rocket took off properly and only after the thrusters stopped firing did the three parachutes come out in sequence to guide Beaun to safety.
