Audi R8 V10 Plus Launched; Fastest Around BIC
Audi's fastest R8 supercar, the R8 V10 Plus is now the fastest production car to lap the Buddh International Circuit. The R8 V10 Plus lapped BIC in a blistering time of 2:12.711, with former HRT F1 driver Karun Chandhok behind the wheels. The newest and most powerful member of the Audi R8 lineup made its India debut at a launch event held in the circuit.
Audi R8 V10 Plus is powered by a more powerful version of the 5.2 liter V10 that also features in the R8 Spyder and R8 V10 Coupe. Mated to Audi's Quattro 7 speed S Tronic transmission delivering power to all four wheels the 550 BHP, 540 Nm machine can reach 100km/h in 3.5 seconds and go on till 317 km/h.
