Nissan 370Z - Poise, Space And Comfort

The Nissan 370Z that was brought to the test drive was fitted with an automatic seven speed transmission. Nissan's driver who had brought the car was extra careful to ensure we journos did not have any confusions before we sat in the driver's seat. He showed us all the controls and also spoke about the gear stick of the automatic gear box. The gear stick had four positions – P N R and D ( Parking, Neutral, Reverse and Drive).
We had a trial run in which we followed the 370Z in our cars to familiarize ourselves with the track. The ten kilometer stretch was clear of traffic and the tarmac was getting hotter by the minute. When I got in to the 370Z, I was first amazed by the space it had to offer to the driver. Yes this is a two seater but it is also a sports car. The rear seats in a sports car are only ornamental and do not offer any comfort. Nissan is smart enough by not adding a useless rear seat.
The Nissan's performance matched its good looks. Powered by a 3.7-litre engine that generates 332bhp and 370Nm of torque, the Nissan delivers exhilarating performance. although the ride could not be called as very comfortable thanks to its hard suspension, it is not something that you would not see in a sports car of its class.
