TVS Apache RTR 180 Matte Black Edition Launched
TVS has launched a special version of its flagship motorcycle, the Apache RTR 180, called the Matte Black Edition.
First showcased in January this year at the India Bike Week, the Apache RTR 180 Matte Black Edition features a matte black body colour, a few extra graphics and that's about it.

Power continues to come from the familiar 177.4cc single-cylinder engine that outputs 17 bhp at 8500 rpm and 15.5 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Currently on sale, the Apache RTR 180 Matte Black is being advertised on television in a commercial, in association with 20th Century Fox's X-Men - Days of the future past.
While currently the most powerful motorcycle sold by TVS in the country, the RTR 180 could be replaced by an all new Apache that is scheduled to arrive later this year.
The new generation Apache would benefit from a few features from the Draken concept motorcycle that was displayed at the Auto Expo and is rumoured to come with a higher displacement engine.
